Ella Walby, RN
Ella is an emergency department nurse and former EMT from the Treasure Coast, and this work is personal. She's married to an Afghanistan combat veteran who now serves as a firefighter/paramedic, so she has seen up close what the calls and the deployments leave behind, and what a steady, well-trained dog can help carry. She knows the struggle from the inside too: years ago she fought her way through anorexia, and she came out of it believing no one should have to heal alone. Still Waters K9 is her answer: calm, faithful, four-legged support for the people who hold everyone else together.

- 🎶She sings and writes worship songs, which may explain why the dogs are so relaxed.
- 🩺She has worked in the ER, the ICU, and pediatric home care, and she's finishing her BSN.
“He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul.” That verse is the whole reason for the name.
Jake Hebert
Jake leads every dog program at Still Waters K9. He owns K9 Calisthenics, a dog training company here in Port St. Lucie, where families know him for staying until they feel confident, not just until the hour is up. His philosophy is simple: a calm dog starts with a confident human, so he trains both ends of the leash.
